Item La comunicación radiofónica como método participativo para personas privadas de la libertad. Estudio de caso: Programa Voces del Alma(Universidad de Cuenca, 2024-11-26) Astudillo Pauta, Johanna Katherine; Vázquez, Pablo AntonioThe present work was developed through qualitative research methodology. During the course of the work, the panorama of participation promoted by the radio project "Voces del Alma" was investigated, as evidenced by the integration of inmates from different wards in the production of the program. This social project focuses on strengthening the skills and talents of each of its members, which has been achieved through training that has given them the self- confidence to be in front of a microphone. Through a meticulous process of analysis, a study of the contents of the radio programs produced by the inmates of the Turi Social Rehabilitation Center was carried out, where the expressive structures of the language exposed in a verbal and nonverbal way were investigated, the same ones that allowed to perpetrate an effective, meaningful and inclusive communication. This study consolidated the power of radio as a liberating means of communication, which raises awareness and instructs. Likewise, as a tool of vindication for vulnerable groups as in this case, which due to their situation are most of the time stigmatized and discriminated. Therefore, it was concluded that participation in a radio program makes visible, transforms and empowers lives.
