    Certainly, within Sígsig, one of the main areas in the town is 24 de Mayo square. Therefore, I propose a re-design what would solve certain space problems Historical aspects of the park and the city were investigated. By having the knowledge of what was this space and what today is, we rely on the construction of the golden rectangle, this element give us an idea to distribute the different spaces within the square, with an order and continuity. The “Chunucari” also known as the Golden Sun is an essential element into the local culture. It brings identity and takes an important role in the mindset of the people. The surface of the square displays a “Chuncari-a-like” texture design. Also the square will have a child playground with natural grass in the surroundings, that will have all the security issues and we will place wooden floor in some social areas such as padways and rest areas.
