(Universidad de Cuenca, 2020-06-23) Astudillo Espinoza, Blanca Estefania; Quesada Orellana, Víctor Manuel
The study tries to show the reality of this problem the Center for Social Development "La Aurora". Hence, it is proposed as a fundamental objective: to analyze risk factors, situations and context, in working infants, in order to prevent and reduce child labor, from an adequate family education. In this line, the research obtained significant results, among them, most of the children who work, come from dysfunctional families, where intrafamily violence is present, perform this activity from nine years old, and the father or mother they consume alcoholic beverages and their consequent lack of concern on the part of the family, about the academic performance of their children. Similarly, among the relevant findings found are the fact that it was possible to verify the risks generated by child labor and the effects that it causes to the integral development of children, and especially the violations of their rights. Likewise, the difficulties existing within the families in which they develop were verified, as well as the need for the aforementioned Educational Center to draw up appropriate strategies, so that parents can receive family guidance in order to prevent and reduce it.
