    La formación dual, un enfoque desde sus stakeholders: caso Universidad de Cuenca

    The objective of this study is to analyze the profile, competencies, and needs of stakeholders—students, academic tutors, and business tutors—in the Dual Mode Business Administration program at the University of Cuenca. A Likert scale survey was used, structured into four dimensions: personal, competencies, needs, and perceived functions. A univariate and bivariate descriptive analysis and a Kruskal-Wallis analysis were conducted to determine if there are significant differences in the degree of development and importance of competencies among the three groups. The findings reveal a significant difference in the development degree of the transversal competencies mentioned in the research (autonomous learning, analytical thinking, creativity, innovation and entrepreneurial spirit, oral communication, and proactivity) among the three groups of interest, except for teamwork. The main need perceived by students is that business tutors understand the dual program and how to guide them in their training process. The study suggests enhancing the soft skills of the stakeholders, due to the high perception of their development, thus contributing to a continuous improvement process of the program.
