    Procesos peligrosos en la salud del personal de enfermería que labora en el área de emergencia del Hospital Vicente Corral Moscoso. Cuenca, 2014

    Aim: The present research determines de Dangerous Processes in the health of the Nursing Personnel who works in the Emergency Area of the Vicente Corral Moscoso Hospital. Methods and Materials: It is a quantitative, descriptive research type which is made up of 37 nurses among men and women who work in the Emergency area. The research technique is as follows: the direct observation and the applying of a structured interview. Data were gathered through a structured survey, which have been processed and analyzed by the SPSS program, Microsoft Office Word, and Microsoft Excel that are present in the tables. Results: An amount of 96, 9% of the professionals are women and the 50% belong to whom, who are between 25 and 35 years old, 43, 8% have been working less than a year. They give care to critic patients, 100% manage medicine, stretchers, and wheel chairs. About 50% of these people do not rest during their work, 84, 4% remain standing and habitually the use the body mechanics 51, 6% show that the physical space is not the right one, 59, 4% that the airing is bad, 15, 6% of lightning is wrong. The nurses are exposed to pathogens, 40, 5% have handled blood samples, and the 33, 8% of urine, 41, 2% has punctured, 23, 5% has presented cutts. Conclusion: The found results in this study show that the 23 nurses are exposed to dangerous processes like: physical, chemical, biological, ergonomic, and psycho-social, which are in their work process.
