(2017) Anguisaca Criollo, Marcia Liliana; Cordero Campoverde, Christian Daniel; Flores Sánchez, Gustavo Geovanni
The investigation is based in secondary information of a preview investigation realized by Uniempresarial about the impact of the dual training model, that was applied to graduates as well as co-forming companies of the dual training in the major of business engineering from the University of Cuenca, it is also based on primary information obtained through surveys made to graduates of the major of business management from the period 2013-2016 and to the companies that have an agreement with them. It is also based in investigations of the actual situation regarding the education in the country and in Latin America; with the purpose of analyzing the determining factors in the University-Business relationship, several interviews were also made with different public and private companies in the city of Cuenca and with teachers from the faculty of economic and administrative science. Reason why very satisfactory results were generated about the applied surveys and the comparison of the same, among these are the perception that the companies have towards the two training models, the strengths and weaknesses of the major of business engineering, the employment relationship of the graduates and the impact at the entrepreneurship level. Regarding the characteristics of the graduates of the several models a significant difference was evidenced, it was found that the appreciation concerning the training model is bigger in Business Engineering than in the major of Business Management. Finally, Strategies were investigated and analyzed to strengthen the entrepreneurial role in education, focusing our action plan on a variable that we consider key to promote, the entrepreneurship in the dual training.
