    Formas de tratamiento de las infecciones respiratorias agudas en los niños/as menores de 5 años que acuden al Centro de Salud de Biblian en los meses de Noviembre 2014- Enero del 2015

    The Respiratory Sharp Infections in 5-year-old minor children have been the principal motive of external consultation in the services of Primary care and one of the pathologies that presents complications produced by diverse factors turning into the second reason of infantile death into the Ecuador into the last five years according to the INEC. OBJECTIVE: To describe the forms of treatment of the respiratory sharp infections in 5-year-old minor children who come to the Center of Health of Biblián. MATERIALS AND METHODS: The investigation is cuali - quantitative. The type of study is descriptive. The universe belonged 418 children, the sample calculation was realized there being obtained a sample of 137 children/aces. Once applied the interview, one proceeded to the tabulation of information, using he programmes them, SPSS and Microsoft Excel by means of which graphs and statistical tables were elaborated. RESULTS: 50.30 % of mothers applies as the first choice the complementary treatment; inside which the measures of support are in 26.16 % that consists of the administration of liquids, control of the fever, supply to the child(a), kinesioterapia respiratory, cleanliness of nostrils, and identification of signs of danger; the ancient saberes realized in 24.14 % by means of the application of medicinal waters and 49.70 % it corresponds to the pharmacological treatment by means of the administration of: non-conducting, antihistamínicos, antibiotic and antiinflammatory. CONCLUSION: The forms of treatment are: the pharmacologist as: non-conducting, antibiotic, antiinflammatory and antihistamínicos and the complementary one for the measures of support in the home and the ancient saberes.
