Item Reconfiguración de sistemas eléctricos de distribución en medio voltaje, utilizando técnica metaheuristica(Universidad de Cuenca, 2023-09-27) Andrade Guerrero, Juan Xavier; Robles Lovato, Pablo DanielThe reconfiguration of medium voltage distribution power systems is a useful technique to obtain optimum system performance in the event of failures caused by force majeure events (shocks, natural disasters), taking into consideration pre-established system restrictions. The present study addresses this problem in 4 stages, the first by means of OSM georeference the study area, the second stage geographically locates the network infrastructure (poles, transformers), the third stage using the information obtained in stages 1 and 2 is analyzed using metaheuristic technique focused on the PRIM algorithm and the use of minimum spanning tree (MST), The algorithm's effectiveness in the face of system failure events is subsequently analyzed by means of case studies, demonstrating its effectiveness and short computational processing times, to validate the results of the algorithm from the electrical point of view through the use of the Cymdist tool, the system elements are parameterized and the case studies are tested through power flows, it is evidenced that the system recovers in the extreme case of simultaneous failures in different areas of the system despite the fact that the affection was 43.07%, the current flow is analyzed in node 496 one of the most distant from the substation in which a decrease of 78.59% is evidenced due to the load sharing.Item Reducción del consumo de energía eléctrica residencial, mediante la aplicación de sistemas termo-solares para el calemtamiento de agua sanitaria en viviendas domiciliares en el cantón Cuenca(2013) Andrade Guerrero, Juan Xavier; Ochoa Guillén, Pedro Luis; Espinoza Abad, Juan Leonardo; Chérrez Avila, Edgar Manuel; Quituisaca Astudillo, PatricioThe research was conducted in the canton of Cuenca during the period 2012-2013, hence the purpose of this thesis was the reduction of energy consumption of residential customers CENTROSUR in peak hours, used for heating residential domestic water by implementing thermal systems - solar. It was necessary to determine the current energy situation Ecuador , followed technical analysis was performed thermo -solar system most suitable for the canton of Cuenca , and the location and strategic implementation , once obtained these data we determined the study area residential customers CENTROSUR , for which it was necessary to locate the place with the highest population concentration area of study focusing on urban parishes in the canton of Cuenca , where surveys were conducted to estimate the energy consumption for water heating per family still a 30.27% the number of customers using electric shower compared to 69.73 % using LPG , these results were obtained with reduced power consumption and LPG and reduction of CO2 emissions , finally determined through economic analysis and financial feasibility of implementing this system , for which replacement scenarios created to be one of the most viable replacement solar thermal panels for gas heaters considering the 15kg LPG cylinder not subsidized.
