Item Composición del género indie rock, a través del análisis estético y musical de la banda The Smiths(2018) Andrade Bermeo, Pedro Gabriel; Urgilés Cárdenas, José EduardoThe present project emerged from the need of re-thinking the processes involved at musical composition and production within indie rock style, in order to maximize the possibilities available through current technology and be able to apply them in composing and producing two songs within this genre -as the practical application of this research- by taking as a major referent the musical production of the English band The Smiths. Based on the analysis of eight of their songs, and using aesthetics as a major frame to identify certain recurring principles and structural elements in these pieces, it’s been possible to synthesize a methodology which can be applied to musical composition and production by independent artists from the local scene. The results achieved show the advantage of applying a methodology involving the elements found in this research for composing and producing music, allowing for a better focus in the making of the final product. Aplicando el marketing de sentidos y relaciones públicas 2.0 en la facultad de filosofía(2017) Andrade Bermeo, Pedro Gabriel; Molina Ochoa, Pamela Alexandra; Guillermo Ríos, Víctor HugoThe present study arises from the need to re-think communication through current elements such as public relations 2.0 and the marketing of meanings, in this case was taken as a reference the CEIUC of the University of Cuenca, which despite having national and international recognition, does not enjoy this benefit within the university community, specifically in the Faculty of Philosophy and Letters, being evident the ignorance even of the existence of this site and therefore of its institutional work, reason why a series of strategies of communication, public relations and marketing of senses have been implemented based on a theoretical revision, diagnosis, surveys, among others, which has resulted in a pilot of the CEIUC's positioning plan using as methodology the quantitative approach of cross section processing the data found using a problem tree and a SWOT matrix. The results demonstrate the absolute need to apply communication strategies for the recognition of CEIUC by the students, these strategies do not involve high costs, but an excess of creativity, which leads to conclude that the study should be extended to all University.
