    Morbilidad y mortalidad y postquirúrgicas, en pacientes con diagnóstico de hidrocefalia por neurocisticercosis, sometidos a derivación ventrículo peritoneal, en Cuenca de mayo del 2003 a abril del 2004

    The research presented, analyzed complications and post-surgical mortality in patients with hydrocephalus by ventriculo Neurocysticercosis undergoing peritoneal, and socio-economic impacts; from May 2003 to April 2004. It has been taken as a reference to 20 patients of different socio-economic strata, who have come to: Vicente Corral Moscoso Hospital, Hospital José Carrasco Arteaga and the Home of the Ecuador Foundation, Cuenca . This study is observational, descriptive type. The male has hydrocephalus neurocysticercosis at a rate of 70 to 30 female; the most common age of presentation comprising 50-59 years with a 25.
