    It is indicated that the work is descriptive ditpo with quantitative variables of the field investigation of the daily activity of the health personnel of the clinical department. The topics covered within the theoretical framework show the progress made in the classification and treatment of wastes and as this has become an axis of epidemiological surveillance, to care for both the hospital environment and the environment, this is evident in the design and implementation Of public policies by public bodies and foundations to protect the environment. Each of the policies respond to the needs of improving the quality of care and reducing the risk of environmental contamination in order to safeguard individual and collective well-being
