    Incidencia de los tumores malignos del sistema hepatobiliar en pacientes del hospital de SOLCA Cuenca entre los años 1997-2002

    This is a retrospective study SOLCA Hospital of the city of Cuenca, in order to determine the incidence of malignant tumors of hepatobiliary system between the years 1997 to 2002. 136 patients with this diagnosis were found, the 35 of them were male and 101 were female. Malignant tumors and their respective frequencies were extrahepatic bile duct tumor 68.38, 24.26 hepatocellular carcinoma, hepatoblastoma 4.41y intrahepatic bile duct tumor 2.94. All tumors were more common in women. Patients with ages between 40-79 years account for 80.14 of the total number of individuals; 20 to 29 years one case suggesting that this age group is of agluna protected way was given.
