Aulario III de la Universidad de Alicante (1998-2000), Javier García-Solera Vera. Análisis de proyecto arquitectónico
(Universidad de Cuenca, 2016-01) Aguirre Collahuazo, Jonnathan Patricio
This research presents the interest on observing the architectural project phenomenon. The central axis of this study is to understand modern architecture as a process that exposes the precise essence of the form. To analyze critically different projects that show order in its form through esthetic judgment, allows us the opportunity to experience the different processes and design decisions that the author had to confront to be able to develop the project. Thus, the work is focused to make an approach to Aulario III, produced by the Spanish architect Javier García-Solera; using the sketch as a main tool. The aim is found the intrinsically architectural values of the project, this way an evaluation of each structuring element is performed, which allows us to define and expand the knowledge of solid tools used as materials for architectural designing.

Modelo de equipamiento educativo y su relación con el espacio público, para una ciudad compacta sustentable
(2014) Aguirre Collahuazo, Jonnathan Patricio; Hermida Palacios, María Augusta
Due to the lack of answers that exist on the media,at the moment of creating architectural pieces, which elements and concepts adapt properly in time and space to the needs of our society and culture; this document presents an idea to create architectural pieces that have a proper and constant relation whit the public space, where the principal actor becomes the pedestrian and not the vehicle, so that the quality of life in the community upgrades and improves. Working always under the premise of providingaproper development of the physic and social structure of our city. This exercise is oriented to provide the need of educational equipment for a particular zone in the southern part of Cuenca.Educational equipmentactivities are related with public space, so this exercise proposes the design of a green area oriented to recreationandrelaxation of the society. Besides, an alternative network of mobility will be designed to upgrade the quality of movement of students of that equipment. The chosen methodology was to analyze the work and ideas of the Spanish architect Javier García Solera as a reference for the conception of this equipment. This analysis has the purpose of adopting solid tools as materials for the project, which will contribute to the creation of a personal reflection about projecting and building architecture.

Resistencia mecánica de losa estructural prefabricada de madera para entrepisos
(Universidad de Cuenca, 2024-11-08) Ordóñez Gutiérrez, Juan Carlos; Aguirre Collahuazo, Jonnathan Patricio
The central objective of this work is to design a prefabricated wooden slab, supported by the analysis of research on prefabricated wood, which has provided significant theoretical advances in recent years. This work develops a prefabricated wooden slab to validate its structural suitability through load tests, such as shear and bending forces. The results of these tests support its implementation in housing construction and contribute to more sustainable construction practices. Through the load test, it is possible to determine the mechanical properties of the wooden prototype for mezzanines, with the aim of evaluating its structural safety capacity in homes. It should be noted that the data obtained from this trial provides crucial information that supports the feasibility and effectiveness of using this slab in the construction of residential buildings. These results were used to verify compliance with the minimum resistance levels established in NCh1198, 2014, for wooden roofs and mezzanines. Taking into account that this type of wooden structure has demonstrated constructive and environmental advantages compared to concrete and steel construction methods, it offers more sustainable and efficient alternatives.
