The Cumbe parish, located south of the city, is one of the twenty-one rural parishes established within the city of Cuenca, which serves as a connection area between provinces, it is located at The Treasury “La Granja”, which, despite its decades of age and with noticeable signs of deterioration over the years, but presenting a good state of conservation, will serve to carry out the following interior redesign project, preserving its historical and architectural wealth, through the interior design intervention for its change of use. Therefore, the objective of the proposed intervention is to improve and generate the distribution of space to develop a new use of restaurant and store with a specific theme (cowboy) within the building, for which the rustic style with neutral colors will be used and handled, without losing the essence of the vernacular architecture of the building. In conclusion, we seek to develop the proposal to generate a new space, both gastronomic and commercial within the area, implementing techniques that generate greater profitability of exhibition and sale of dishes or products for customer consumption, and thus make the area a much more tourist, commercial and residential place.
