Item Enriquecimiento semántico de guías de programación electrónica(2014) Abad Regalado, Karina Alexandra; Chica Pesántez, Fernanda Elizabeth; Saquicela Galarza, Víctor HugoThe great developments in the technological area and especially in the area of the Digital Television have generated new researching lines, and this thesis is an example of that. This work presents a helping tool for Digital Television users providing the fastest way to get information about the programs they observe and which they like. However, the actual problem occurs since the Digital Television broadcasters not always give enough information to users about the programs, which is a problem because they use other information sources wasting worthy time. A solution to that problem is developed in this work, since the television and the huge and available information in the internet are integrated by using semantic technologies in order to let users get a complete information about the programs they want to know. Especially this thesis looks for enriching extra information about the programs transmitted by the different television channels by using the semantic web methods and techniques to get helpful information from ontological and no ontological repositories. The final result will be an ontological data base containing detailed program information.Item IStar in practice: On the identification of reusable SD Context Models elements(CEUR-WS, 2015-08-24) Abad Regalado, Karina Alexandra; Carvallo Vega, Juan Pablo; Peña, CModern enterprises rely on Information Systems (IS) required both to support their operation and provide information required to endorse strategic decisions. Because of their increasing complexity, such systems are usually constructed by integrating software components of different nature and origins into hybrid systems, for which architectural design plays a fundamental role. However, far from simple, this task is usually cumbersome. In previous work we have addressed this issue and proposed a four steps, pattern-based approach, aimed to help in the solution of this problem. In first steps, patterns are described as Context Models, which include recurring elements (actors and dependencies) identified in several industrial cases. In this work we further address this issue and present an study aimed at the validation and extension of such patterns, and/or the identification of new ones, by reviewing recurring elements appearing in 29 semi-industrial IS architectural design processes.Publication Towards the creation of a semantic repository of iStar-based context models(SPRINGER VERLAG, 2015-10-28) Abad Regalado, Karina Alexandra; Carvallo Vega, Juan Pablo; Espinoza Mejía, Jorge Mauricio; Saquicela Galarza, Víctor HugoThe System Architecture definition of the majority of organizations requires a deep understanding about its environment and organizational structure; nevertheless, the construction of such models is not an easy task because of the gap of knowledge and communication between the technical and administrative staff. The DHARMA method, which makes intensive use of the i* notation, propose a solution to that problem, supporting the Context Models construction. This paper presents an approach for annotating the i* models with semantic technologies, to support the search and generation of Context Models based on the knowledge defined in ontological models, allowing the creation of a Semantic Repository of Context Models, which will be used to discover relations between different i* models and extract patterns from them.
