    The resent research will define how the variables of the administration, such as: working capital, liquidity, and profitability influence the growth and competitiveness of small and medium enterprises in the Ecuadorian sector of process meat products manufacturing. There are 27 companies that make up this sector at the national level were considered as population, in the study a simple- comparative descriptive analysis is applied, establishing liquidity, management and profitability indicators to determine the situation of the process meat sector and the companies that make up the industry, a correlational descriptive analysis is subsequently developed through the use of the Spearman correlation coefficient to establish the relationship between the variables working capital, liquidity and profitability, concluding that there is a direct relationship between the variables net working capital and current liquidity, It is also determined that there is no relationship between the variables net working capital and net margin in the micro-small and medium-sized business groups, while in large companies there is a relationship in two periods
