The Mackinder Box as a didactic resource for students and teachers, is a proposal that arises from the need to support the Educational Centers in teaching and learning the multiplication and division of natural numbers of the Fourth Year of Basic General Education, because has observed that traditional classroom teaching resources and priority use of texts and worksheets are used in classrooms without giving the importance it deserves to activities using innovative didactic resources.
For its development has been emphasized in the use and manipulation that the students can give to the didactic resources and specifically to the Box Mackinder, since according to different authors an authentic learning is obtained when there is a manipulation and direct contact with the resources and better still if students can build it.
