The purpose of this workaims to perform a study offlexiblediaphragms, as a structural elementresponsible for the transmissionofhorizontalforcestothe vertical lateral load resistingelements. It is drilled down around the structural systems composed ofsteel decks, and calculatingshearstiffness. Finally, through the displacement methodand of flexibilitiesa sample application was complete, achieving this way to prove the shear differences, depending on the stiffness of thepanel.
