    Prevalencia de patología dual y factores de riesgo en pacientes con trastornos por consumo de sustancias, Cuenca, abril – diciembre 2016

    Introduction: Dual pathology is the association between a psychiatric disorder and a substance use disorder. The prevalence is 50 to 75% in hospitalization, and in the general population of 15 to 80%. The most frequently dual pathology are: mood disorders, anxiety, psychosis, and antisocial personality. The most relevant risk factors more relevant are the family and social problems. Objective: To determine the prevalence of dual pathology and Psychosocial Environmental and Associated Risk Factors in people with substance use disorders. METHOD AND MATERIALS: It was a cross-sectional study, applied that the MINI Structured Diagnostic Interview and the Axis IV questionnaire of DSM IV-TR "133 patients with substance use disorder between April and December 2016. A bivariate descriptive analysis. Results: The prevalence of dual pathology is 74.5%; the most prevalent disorders were: anxiety D. 56.4%, 51.9% humor D, Antisocial D. 37.6% and Psychotic D, 21.1%; 91.6% have Alcohol Consumption (TCA), 51.1% Consumption of other substances (TCS) and 46.6% combination of both. The Most Associated Risk Factors were labor problems (RP: 1.38, 95% CI: 1.14-1.68, p: 0.001), economic problems (RP: 1.39, 95% CI: 1.18-1.65, p: 0.001) and family problems (RP: 1.38, 95% CI: 1.03-1.58, p: 0.01). Conclusions: The prevalence of D.P. is high, the most prevalent disorders is anxiety D. , moods D. and antisocial personality. Risk factors were more associated Labor problems, economic, and family
