Análisis de la estabilidad actual de la Ermita Sur en la Hidroeléctrica Mazar

Mazar Hydroelectric presents several problems related to unstable slopes that affect normal functioning and represent a risk to the dam built. This paper discusses the slope stability of La Ermita Sur, located upstream of the dam in which different factors triggered a movement of this mass. One modeling was performed by computational means of the slope, analyzing primary factor precipitating water. Applying the MEL limit equilibrium method, through method Morgenstern - Price is based model of the physical - mechanical original slope, the water table was varied from its original depth to the worst situation in the slope surface, this modeling was performed for the fault plane assumed in the batter and searched by the program level. Then applying the inverse analysis method sensitivity was found physical- mechanical parameters with which the slope is the limit of his equilibrium. The results obtained by MEL through modeling by the method was verified tense- deformational applying the finite element method using MEF reduced shear, the results between the two methods were similar, areas of slope failure both methods were concordant. In both methods and pseudo- static conditions are applied for static slope failure criterion applied to all cases was the Mohr – Coulomb.
