Female labor empowerment in a masculinized sector such as work in the taxi is the topic
that this reseach addresses, based on an analysis from the theory of anthropology and
feminist economics an maintaining as a backbone the realization of an entnographic
audiovisual. This research work carries out an ethnography on women taxi drivers in
Cuenca, is the first in Ecuador to address this type of theme, intended to contribute to the
feminist discussion on labor empowerment and the vision of audiovisual anthropology as a
method of investigation and creation
