In the present work was carried out an in-depth analysis about the attributes of modern architecture in order to establish criteria keys for the selection of relevant contemporary homes in the city of Cuenca and thus demonstrate the persistence of these in the current architectural production of our town.
Thereby, a concise study on the development of Modernity was carried out throughout its history, to understand under what parameters were developed concepts such as rigour, precision, visual economy, constructive economy, universality and reversibility, establishing a link in the analysis of contemporary, and emblematic works in order to find similarities in their processes of formal construction, developing projects that are logically supported both formal and functional aspects.
