The congenital double lip is a rare anatomical condition,
occurs most often in the upper lip at the lower, produ-
cing aesthetic changes, the speech and mastication, in
the sufferer. We have treated two cases of congenital
double lip, one for aesthetic reasons and the other one
forfunctional reasons; no one ofthe patients developed
postoperative complication such as half labial constric-
tion. Were resolved by elliptical incisión technique, with
satisfactory aesthetic and functional results
