dc.description.abstract | Nowadays, the housing deficit is a problem that afflicts Latin American societies both quantitatively and qualitatively, due to the fact that most social housing policies focus on building housing, without taking into consideration that the projects provide adequate habitat for their occupants This is also a fact that is reflected in Ecuador, which is why, in this titling work, an architectural and urban analysis is carried out on housing complexes of social interest built in the country, through the application of surveys and interviews to the beneficiaries and technicians specialized in the subject, in order to identify the problems of the current state of housing and thus establish strategies that provide housing solutions to be considered when planning and executing social interest housing projects. Similarly, minimum parameters are established regarding the sizing of the different spaces, which must be met in the design of these homes. This study is reinforced with the design proposal of a standard housing prototype and another that meets the requirements of universal accessibility, these designs comply with all the strategies and parameters proposed, with the aim of improving the habitat in social housing in the Costa, Sierra and Amazonía regions of Ecuador. | en_US |
