Abstract:
In the present study the impact of BDH (BDH) in school enrollment for which the National Survey of Employment, Unemployment and Underemployment in 2012 provided by the INEC, applied to children and adolescents was used is measured ages 5 to 18 in the province of Azuay.
To calculate the impact of the BDH was used propensity score matching, analyzing the whole sample was obtained a negative impact, then proceeded to calculate the impact on the lowest income quintile obtaining a positive but statistically non-significant result.

En la presente investigación se mide el impacto del Bono de Desarrollo Humano (BDH) en la asistencia escolar para lo cual se utilizó la Encuesta Nacional de Empleo, Desempleo y Subempleo del año 2012 proporcionada por el INEC, aplicada para los niños, niñas y jóvenes en edades de 5 a 18 años en la provincia del Azuay.
Para calcular el impacto del BDH se utilizó el Propensity Score Matching, analizando a toda la muestra se obtuvo un impacto negativo, posteriormente se procedió a calcular el impacto para el quintil más bajo de ingresos obteniendo un resultado positivo pero estadísticamente no significativo.
