Propuesta de mejora para la sección de serigrafía de la Pasamanería S.A.

Abstract

This thesis presents an “Improvement Proposal to the Silkscreen Section in the PASAMANERIA S.A.” and has the objective to identify the problems that now exist in the section to propose solutions. The topic was development in four chapters, which are described in the following lines: The first chapter describes the general backgrounds about the company, as: history, strategic guidelines, a short summary about the function of each section in the productive process, organizational structure, process flow, layout of the section, etc. The second chapter gets together information about the present situation of the Silkscreen Section, analyzing the possible reasons that could cause production problems. The third chapter includes the development of solutions and approaches at the problems studied in the second chapter in regard to production planning, manpower and quality control in manufactured products. The last chapter explains the reached conclusions with the development of this work and some recommendations for the benefit of the section and the company.
