The purpose of the research is to disseminate the compositional work of David Díaz Loyola,
and the formal analysis of his work "Diablo Huma", which will serve as a theoretical basis for
the interpretative proposal that will be performed in the degree recital. As background
information the following works will be presented: his catalog of pieces, with approximately
100 musical works composed up to the date (February 2021), four books published under the
name of "Obras Musicales" and an account of several premieres performed in cities of a great
cultural movement in Ecuador. Finally, the respective scores will be attached with the
composer's consent, as well as conclusions and recommendations, product of the analysis of
the work and the respective interviews with the composer
Resumen :
La presente investigación tiene como objetivo dar a conocer el trabajo compositivo de David
Díaz Loyola, y la realización del análisis formal de su obra “Diablo Huma”, mismo que servirá
de sustento teórico para la propuesta interpretativa a ejecutar en el recital de grado. Como
antecedentes serán expuestos: su catálogo de obras, con un aproximado de 100 obras
musicales compuestas hasta la fecha (febrero del 2021), cuatro libros impresos bajo el
nombre de “Obras Musicales” y recuento de varios estrenos realizados en ciudades de gran
movimiento cultural en el Ecuador. Finalmente se anexarán las respectivas partituras con el
consentimiento del compositor, así como también se establecerán conclusiones y
recomendaciones, producto del análisis de la obra y de las respectivas entrevistas realizadas
al compositor
