dc.description | Antecedentes: Se estima que alrededor de un 50% de los profesionales de la voz, son propensos a padecer trastornos vocales o alteraciones de la voz, esto como consecuencia del tiempo de uso diario que le dan a su voz y los malos hábitos vocales a los que se exponen. Objetivo: Determinar la autopercepción vocal de los estudiantes del coro del conservatorio José María Rodríguez. Periodo 2023-2024. Métodos: El presente proyecto de investigación es de tipo descriptivo de cohorte transversal, mismo que se realizó en el Conservatorio José María Rodriguez de la ciudad de Cuenca-Ecuador, con un total de 40 participantes. Para la recolección de datos, los participantes firmaron el consentimiento informado, posteriormente llenaron la Historia Clínica de la Voz y por medio del S-VHI se recolectó la información referente a su calidad vocal. El análisis y tabulación de los datos se realizó en el programa SPSS versión 29. Resultados: De los 40 participantes encuestados, el 70% corresponde al grupo etario de 18-25 años, el 50% son de sexo masculino y el 50% femenino. El 57,5% lleva de 1 año- 5 años 11 meses en el coro, y el 75% hace uso de su voz cantada de 7- 9 horas a la semana. El 57,5% de las y los participantes poseen al menos un hábito perjudicial y según el S-VHI, el 52,5% siente que su voz presenta un problema leve. dc.description.abstract | Background: It is estimated that around 50% of voice professionals, are prone to suffer vocal disorders or voice alterations, this as a consequence of their daily time of use they give to their voice and bad vocal habits. Objective: To determine the vocal self-perception of the students of the choir of the José María Rodríguez Conservatory. Period 2023-2024. Methods: This research project is a descriptive cross-sectional cohort project, which was carried out at the “José María Rodriguez Conservatory” in Cuenca- Ecuador with a total of 40 participants. For the data collection, first the participants signed the informed consent, then they filled out the Clinical Voice History and by means of the S-VHI the information regarding their vocal quality was collected, the analysis and tabulation of the data was carried out in the SPSS software version 29. Results: Out of the 40 participants surveyed, 70% were in the 18-25 age group, 50% were male and 50% female. 57.5% had been in the choir for 1 year- 5 years 11 months, and 75% use their singing voice for 7-9 hours a week. 57.5% of the participants have at least one harmful habit. According to the S-VHI, 52.5% feel that their voice has a slight problem. Conclusions: Most of the singers of the higher choir of the José Maria Rodriguez Conservatory self-perceive that their vocal state has a slight alteration. | en_US |
