| Abstract: | This work arises from the crisis in the health services currently experienced
by the population of the Sayausí parish due to the population growth it has
undergone in recent years. Consequently, the existing health center has
been forced to adapt its facilities to constructions with larger areas but
which were designed for purposes other than that of a health center. The
Municipal GAD of the Cuenca Canton, in its 2022 PDOT, established the
need to implement a new “B” type health facility in Sayausí, which would have
the capacity to serve 10,000 to 50,000 inhabitants, therefore addressing
the demand for health services in Sayausí. Previously, the Sayausí GAD
designated a site where a school used to operate, which is currently unused.
For the project analysis, a diagnosis was made regarding the historical and
physical environment, and architectural criteria were obtained based on the
analysis of national, regional, and international case studies. On the other
hand, the existing regulations for health centers in Ecuador were analyzed,
as well as internationally, where minimum measures and areas were reviewed,
serving as a reference for developing the architectural program. Finally, the
architectural design was resolved, which includes different health services
that respond to the existing demand, with a design that aligns with the context. |
| Description: | El presente trabajo surge a partir de la crisis en los servicios de salud que
vive actualmente la población de la parroquia Sayausí debido al crecimiento
poblacional que ha experimentado en los últimos años. En consecuencia, el
centro de salud existente se ha visto obligado a adaptar sus instalaciones
en construcciones con mayor área, pero que fueron diseñadas para usos
diferentes al de un centro de Salud. Desde el GAD Municipal del Cantón
Cuenca en su PDOT 2022 se estableció necesidad de implementar un nuevo
equipamiento de salud tipo “B” en Sayausí, el cual tendría la capacidad de
atención de 10.000 a 50.000 habitantes, resolviendo de esta manera la
demanda de servicios de salud en Sayausí. Previamente por parte del GAD
de Sayausí se designó un predio en el cual funcionaba una escuela y que
en la actualidad se encuentra sin utilización. Para el análisis del proyecto
se realizó un diagnóstico entorno al contexto histórico y medio físico, así
mismo se obtuvieron criterios arquitectónicos con base en el análisis de
casos de estudio nacional, regional e internacional. Por otro lado, se analizó
la normativa vigente para los centros de Salud en Ecuador y también a nivel
internacional, en donde se revisaron medidas y áreas mínimas que sirvieron
de referencia para elaborar el programa arquitectónico. Finalmente se
resolvió el anteproyecto arquitectónico que cuenta con diferentes servicios
de salud que responden a la demanda existente, con un diseño que responde
al contexto. |
