| Abstract: | The Victor Manuel Albornoz Library, located in the city of Cuenca, belongs
to the Pumapungo Museum, an entity of the Ecuadorian state that houses
the history of the country and its ethnic groups. This space is a site of
relevance and recognition in the history of the city because it is the holder
of its valuable culture and information. Recognizing the importance of this
place, we have carried out this research, analysis and proposal for the
interior design of the ¨Víctor Manuel Albornoz Library. In chapter one we
will discuss in detail the doctrinal criteria to determine the areas of
functionality of the Library and, based on that, establish the number of
daily visitors to the place. Likewise, we will analyze the importance of
ergonomic factors and thermal, acoustic, furniture and lighting factors, as
well as the correct analysis at the moment of implementing, structuring and
materializing the redesign and the respective regulations that exist in the
country in this regard. In chapter two I will specifically develop the detailed
study of the Pumapungo museum, through a planimetry of its current state,
a photographic survey of its facilities to establish if it complies with the
current regulations and the analysis of the respective counterparts. Finally,
chapter three presents the proposal for the redesign of the Pumapungo
Museum Library, with the respective changes and their analysis |
| Description: | La Biblioteca Víctor Manuel Albornoz, ubicada en la ciudad de Cuenca,
pertenece al Museo Pumapungo, una entidad del estado ecuatoriano que
alberga la historia del país y de sus grupos étnicos. Este espacio
constituye un sitio de relevancia y reconocimiento en la historia de la
ciudad pues es poseedora de su valiosa cultura e información. Al
reconocer la importancia de este lugar, se ha realizado el presente trabajo
de investigación, análisis y propuesta de rediseño interiorista de la
Biblioteca ¨Víctor Manuel Albornoz”. En el capítulo uno se tratará en
detalle cuáles son aquellos criterios doctrinarios para determinar las áreas
de funcionalidad de la biblioteca y en función de aquello, establecer el
número de visitantes diarios al lugar. Así mismo, se analiza la importancia
de los factores ergonómicos y de los factores térmicos, acústicos,
mobiliario e iluminación,así como también el correcto análisis al momento
de implementar, estructurar y materializar el rediseño y la respectiva
normativa que existe en el país al respecto. Dentro del capítulo dos se
desarrolla de manera específica el estudio detallado del museo
Pumapungo, a través de una planimetría de su estado actual, un
levantamiento fotográfico de sus instalaciones para establecer si cumple
con la normativa vigente y el análisis de homólogos respectivos. Por
último, en el capítulo tres se expone la propuesta del proyecto de rediseño
de la Biblioteca del Museo Pumapungo, con sus respectivos cambios y
análisis de los mismos |
