Abstract: | The main objective of this curricular integration work is to create a set of illustrations for
informative material on the care, prevention and contagion of HIV/AIDS and STDs. The
purpose of this project is to allow young students to have more information about certain
sexual health topics through illustration and at the same time transmit knowledge through
visual elements. That is, interested people will be able to implement this system in different
projects, it can be dissemination, research, socialization, tasks or presentations. For the
development of this project, we have chosen to create our own methodology, which consists
of 4 stages: in the first stage, information on sexual health, HIV/AIDS and the most common
STDs was collected, a search for counterparts was carried out as inspiration. In the second
stage, the data obtained from the first stage was analyzed to create a brief. In the third stage,
the moodboard was carried out to define an aesthetic line with which to work, the design of
archetypes and stereotypes where the psychological profile that the characters will have and
their role in the narrative of the illustrations, the design of the palette where the color that the
illustrations will have is defined, the sketching here sketches the shapes, body composition,
facial features, hair, clothing and movement and the concept art illustrates a set of related
elements to HIV/AIDS and STDs under the same graphic system. Finally, in the fourth and
final stage, the composition of scenes is carried out and 8 to 10 scenes are produced that
communicate specific concepts around the theme. |
