Diseño de infografía animada como material didáctico para la catequesis del Oratorio Don Bosco

Abstract

The objective of this Curricular Integration Project is the creation and design of an animated infographic that serves as didactic material for catechesis, directed to children of the Eucharistic Level of the Don Bosco Oratory. Its content integrates the themes established in the book that is used in the classes with extra information and visual elements, being resources that reinforce the learning and give support to the catechists to meet the objectives of the level in which the children are. This, through the development of an interesting narrative, children's style illustrations and animations that give life and movement to the graphics. The methodology applied is based on the books "Design for Motion" by Austin Shaw (2015) and "Animated Storytelling" by Liz Blazer (2015). It consists of several stages that are organized in four main parts. In the first section, the relevance of the project as a graphic contribution to the teaching of faith is highlighted. The scope of the project is defined and the conceptual foundations that guided the entire creative process are established. The second section introduces the methodology and those tools that helped to understand the context, such as interviews, focus group, visual research and the approach of the brief with the requirements of the project. The third section includes the writing of the script, the sketching of the characters and scenes, the animatic, the digitalization of the illustrations with its graphic system, the animation and the validation phase with its respective results. The last section covers those recommendations and reflections of the learning obtained with each of the phases of this animation project.
