| Abstract: | The objective of this work is to describe the perceptions of third-year high school students of
the Abelardo Tamariz Crespo Educational Unit about migration, with the purpose of analyzing
its effects during the period September 2023 to January 2024. The work focuses on analyzing
the way in which adolescents describe this phenomenon. In addition, descriptions are made
about important concepts on this topic, such as the types of migration, what it is caused by,
its advantages and disadvantages, migration in Ecuador, analysis of testimonies by migrant
mothers from Chile, programs aimed at migrant families, their effects on the educational and
psychosocial environment of both the family and the adolescents themselves. The
methodology that was carried out is descriptive in scope. The population taken into account is
adolescents in their third year of high school, with the sample obtained through nonprobabilistic convenience sampling of a total of ten students. Regarding the results obtained,
there was variety in the responses, however, all of them led to the fact that the greatest effects
were the loss of communication and affection with the migrant member; Addressing the
discussions in this way, finally the conclusions that were developed according to the stated
objectives are presented. Also, the respective annexes used during the preparation of the
investigative work such as letter of interest, parental consent and student assent and interview
models that were applied will be projected. |
| Description: | El presente trabajo tiene como objetivo describir las percepciones de las y los estudiantes de
tercer año de bachillerato de la Unidad Educativa Abelardo Tamariz Crespo sobre la
migración, con la finalidad de analizar sus efectos durante el periodo septiembre de 2023 a
enero de 2024. El trabajo se centra en analizar la manera en que los adolescentes describen
este fenómeno. Además, se realiza descripciones acerca de conceptos importantes sobre
esta temática, como los tipos de migración, a que se debe, sus ventajas y desventajas, la
migración en Ecuador, análisis de testimonios por parte de madres de familia migrantes de
Chile, programas orientados a familias migrantes, sus efectos en el ámbito educativo y
psicosocial tanto de la familia como de los mismos adolescentes. La metodología que se llevó
a cabo es de alcance descriptivo. La población tomada en cuenta, son los adolescentes de
tercer año de bachillerato, com la muestra obtenida mediante un muestreo no probabilístico
por conveniencia de un total de diez estudiantes. En cuanto a los resultados obtenidos existió
variedad en las respuestas, sin embargo, todas llevaban a que los mayores efectos fueron la
perdida de comunicación y afectividad con el miembro migrante; abordando de esta manera
las discusiones, finalmente se presentan las conclusiones que fueron desarrolladas acorde a
los objetivos planteados. También, se proyectarán los anexos respectivos usados durante la
elaboración del trabajo investigativo como carta de interés, consentimiento de los padres y
asentimiento de los estudiantes y modelos de entrevistas que se aplicó. |
