| en_US |
dc.description.abstract | The declaration of the COVID-19 pandemic by the OMS (World Health Organization) forced the Ecuadorian educational system to take urgent measures to ensure the educational continuity of students of all school systems. For this reason, this project seeks to create a reflective-social space through the creation of a mural in the San Joaquin Educational Unit in the city of Cuenca, in male and female students in the second year of high school ranging between 15 and 16 years of age, the selected sample are 31 young people, who will demonstrate their creativity in the construction, development and presentation of the work. This work is framed in the qualitative paradigm, the methodology based on research-action, which facilitates the participants to get involved in social issues and through this create awareness and catharsis in each of the stages of plastic creation. On the other hand, the techniques to be used are observation and focus group. Thus, this mural proposes to establish a space for reflection in the educational community and allow the observer to create his own map of ideas of what he perceives. In conclusion, mural art has been an important way to address and reflect on the impact of COVID-19 on society. Pandemic-related murals not only inform and educate, but can also be a source of inspiration and hope for people around the world. | en_US |
