| Abstract: | The present research aimed to assess the yield potential of five late-native potato accessions
(Solanum tuberosum L.) under the influence of different levels of chemical fertilization. To achieve
this, an experimental methodology was employed, utilizing a bifactorial design. Five late-native
potato accessions were used, namely Suscaleña Blanca (V1. AMMM-24), Suscaleña Morada
(V2. MM-70), Jubaleña (V3. AMCC-032), Bolona Amarilla (V4. AMHLMM-13), and Super Chola
(V5. CONTROL). The results revealed that during the vegetative stage, the number of emerged
potato plants, the percentage of emergence, and the number of days until 50% flowering showed
variations among the potato varieties analyzed. Meanwhile, during the harvest stage, the number
of harvested potato plants, as well as the weight of both commercial and seed potatoes, were
influenced by the type of fertilization and the potato variety. Furthermore, the highest yield was
obtained with the treatment of Suscaleña Blanca and 100% chemical fertilization, with a value of
55.44 t/ha. Finally, it was determined that the highest Cost-Benefit (C/B) ratio was associated with
treatment F2V2 (Suscaleña Morada and 75% chemical fertilization) with a value of 1.88, followed
by F3V4 (Bolona Amarilla and 50% chemical fertilization) with a value of 1.72. |
| Description: | La presente investigación tuvo como objetivo evaluar el potencial de rendimiento de cinco
accesiones de papas nativas tardías (Solanum tuberosum L.) bajo la influencia de diferentes
niveles de fertilización química. Para lo cual, se utilizó una metodología de tipo experimental, con
base en un diseño bifactorial, empleando cinco accesiones de papas nativas tardías que fueron
Suscaleña blanca (V1. AMMM-24), Suscaleña morada (V2. MM-70), Jubaleña (V3. AMCC-032),
Bolona amarilla (V4. AMHLMM-13) y Súper chola (V5. TESTIGO). Obteniendo como resultado
que, en la etapa vegetativa, el número de plantas de papa emergidas, el porcentaje de
emergencia y, el número de días hasta el 50% de floración, presentaron diferencias entre las
variedades de papa analizadas. Mientras que, en la etapa de cosecha, se obtuvo que el número
de plantas de papa cosechadas, al igual que el peso de la papa comercial y la de semilla
cosechada, se encuentran influenciadas por el tipo de fertilización y la variedad de papa. Por otro
lado, el mayor rendimiento se obtuvo con el tratamiento Suscaleña blanca y 100% de fertilizante
químico con un valor de 55,44 t/ha; finalmente se determinó que, la mayor relación C/B se asocia
con el F2V2 (Suscaleña Morada y 75% de fertilizante químico) con un valor de 1,88; seguido del
F3V4 (Bolona Amarilla y 50% de fertilización química) con un valor de 1,72. |
