| Abstract: | The present state of the art is situated in the field of Basic Education, specifically in
the area of "sexual education". The topic "Sex education in the educational system for
boys and girls from 6 to 12 years old" aims to analyze from the literature, how sexuality,
despite being a fundamental topic for education, still contains a number of gaps for the
formation of boys and girls. In order to achieve this objective, we proceeded to
investigate, analyze and select information, using an analytical methodology that led
to a bibliographic review of scientific articles, journals and books on the subject. This
review was carried out in order to analyze the development of sexuality education in
the educational system, as well as its organization in the curriculum and the difficulties
it presents in the process of teaching and learning about sexuality. Similarly, the
perspectives of parents and teachers on the subject were analyzed, and finally, some
of the contents and strategies to be worked on in the classroom and some of the
modalities used to approach the subject were reviewed. |
| Description: | El presente estado del arte se sitúa en el ámbito de Educación Básica,
específicamente en el área de “educación sexual”. El tema denominado “Educación
sexual en sistema educativo para niños y niñas de 6 a 12 años” tiene como objetivo
analizar desde la literatura, como la sexualidad a pesar de ser un tema fundamental
para la educación, aún contiene un sin número de vacíos para la formación de los
niños y niñas. Para el logro de este objetivo se procedió a indagar, analizar y
seleccionar información, usando una metodología analítica que orientó a una revisión
bibliográfica de artículos científicos, revistas y libros respecto al tema. Está revisión
se realizó con el fin de analizar el desarrollo de la educación sexual en el sistema
educativo, así como también cuál es su organización en el curriculum y las dificultades
que presenta en el proceso de enseñanza y aprendizaje de la sexualidad. De igual
manera se analizaron las perspectivas que tiene los padres de familia y los docentes
acerca del tema y, por último, se procedió a revisar algunos de los contenidos y
estrategias a trabajar en las aulas de clases y algunas de las modalidades que se
usan para el abordaje del tema. |
