Rasgos de personalidad en presuntos agresores masculinos con orden judicial para intervención psicológica en el Instituto de Criminología, Criminalística e Intervención Psicosocial Familiar de la Universidad de Cuenca-Ecuador, en el año 2022

Abstract

Personality traits are persistent characteristics of ways of perceiving, interacting, socializing and reasoning about the environment and oneself that are manifested in different social and personal contexts. Personality constitutes the individual identity before oneself and others. The general objective of this research was to describe the personality traits of alleged male aggressors with a court order for psychological intervention at the Instituto de Criminología, Criminalística e Intervención Psicosocial Familiar de la Universidad de Cuenca-Ecuador, in the year 2022. The study had a quantitative approach, with a nonexperimental, cross-sectional design and a descriptive scope. We worked with a population of 70 alleged male aggressors with a court order for psychological intervention in the Instituto in 2022. The instruments that were applied were the sociodemographic file made by the author and the Multiaxial Clinical Inventory of MCCI-III million, whose validation used was the one adapted to the Spanish language by Cardenal and Sanchez in 2007. The results obtained allowed to obtain a sociodemographic database that reveals ages included in the stage of middle adulthood, predominating the civil states single and married and, level of baccalaureate education.
