| Abstract: | The present investigation had the purpose of determining the botanical composition, diversity
and abundance of weeds present in the pastures of the Chorocopte parish, which was carried
out in five altitudinal ranges: floor one that goes from 3168 to 3368 m s.n.m., floor two of 3368
at 3568 m s.n.m., floor three from 3568 to 3768 m s.n.m., floor four 3768 to 3968 m s.n.m. and
floor five from 3968 to 4168 m s.n.m. In this place, UPA's of 500 m2 were established to carry
out the sampling. In each site, the number of species and the number of individuals per species
were counted, and the diameter of the weed stem (mm) was recorded. In the data analysis,
variables such as: relative density (DR), relative frequency (FR), relative dominance (DmR)
and Importance Value Index (IVI) were determined; likewise, the Shannon diversity index (H')
and the Margalef richness index (DMG) were estimated. Regarding the botanical composition,
39 species of weeds were recorded in the Chorocopte parish, which are within 19 families; the
family with the highest species richness was Asteraceae, Poaceae, with 7 and 6 species
respectively; the most important species in the parish are: Agropyron repens, Holcus lanatus,
whose importance value indices (IVI) are: 9,21 and 8,42. For the community studied, an H' of
0,99 and a DMG of 2,99 were recorded. |
| Description: | La presente investigación tuvo la finalidad de determinar la composición botánica, diversidad
y abundancia de malezas presentes en las pasturas de la parroquia Chorocopte la cual se
realizó en cinco rangos altitudinales: piso uno que va desde los 3168 a 3368 m s.n.m., piso
dos de 3368 a 3568 m s.n.m., piso tres de 3568 a 3768 m s.n.m., piso cuatro 3768 a 3968 m
s.n.m. y piso cinco de 3968 a 4168 m s.n.m. En este lugar se establecieron UPA’s de 500 m2
para realizar el muestreo. En cada sitio se contó la cantidad de especies, el número de
individuos por especie y se registró el diámetro del tallo de las malezas (mm). En el análisis
de datos se determinaron variables como: densidad relativa (DR), frecuencia relativa (FR), la
dominancia relativa (DmR) e Índice de valor de importancia (IVI); así mismo se estimó el
índice de diversidad de Shannon (H’) y el índice de riqueza de Margalef (DMG). En cuanto a la
composición botánica, se registraron 39 especies de malezas en la parroquia Chorocopte las
cuales están dentro de 19 familias; la familia con más riqueza de especies fue Asteraceae,
Poaceae, con 7 y 6 especies respectivamente; las especies con mayor importancia en la
parroquia son: Agropyron repens, Holcus lanatus, cuyos índices de valor de importancia (IVI)
son: 9,21 y 8,42. Para la comunidad estudiada se registró un H’ de 0,99 y un DMG de 2,99. |
