| Abstract: | Background: the well-being of mothers during the birth process is closely related to the
satisfaction of their needs and the treatment received, a situation that has been threatened
worldwide.
Objective: to determine the level of maternal well-being during childbirth at the Mariano Estrella
Cuenca Type-B Health Center. 2022.
Methods: a descriptive quantitative study, we worked with a finite universe during the months of
August to October 2022, using the scale of maternal well-being in childbirth as an instrument
(EBMSP2) developed by Uribe et al, with a Cronbach's alpha of 0.937.
The data were processed with the SPSS version 25 program, presented in tables of frequencies
and percentages.
Results: 83% of the mothers have an optimal level of well-being. 100% reported having obtained
a comfortable physical environment in their care. 45% of the mothers did not have a choice of
accompaniment in the three moments before, during and after the delivery, among the noncompliance
criteria was misinformation (17%) and arriving without a companion (14%).
Conclusions: despite having mostly obtained an optimal level of well-being, there are low but
striking percentages regarding: maternal follow-up, prenatal and intranatal prophylaxis, self-care
and comfort related to the choice of delivery position, as well as complications. presented |
| Description: | Antecedentes: el bienestar de las madres durante el proceso de parto está íntimamente
relacionado con la satisfacción de sus necesidades y al trato recibido, situación que a nivel
mundial se ha visto amenazada.
Objetivo: determinar el nivel de bienestar materno durante el parto en Centro de Salud Tipo-B
Mariano Estrella Cuenca. 2022.
Métodos: estudio cuantitativo descriptivo, se trabajó con un universo finito durante los meses de
agosto a octubre del 2022, utilizando como instrumento la escala de bienestar materno en
situación de parto (EBMSP2) desarrollada por Uribe y Cols, con un alfa de Cronbach de 0,937.
Los datos fueron procesados con el programa SPSS versión 25, presentados en tablas de
frecuencias y porcentajes.
Resultados: el 83% de las maternas tienen un nivel de bienestar óptimo. El 100% refirió haber
obtenido un ambiente físico confortable en su atención. El 53.6% de las maternas no tuvieron
elección de acompañamiento en los tres momentos antes, durante y después del parto, entre los
criterios del incumplimiento fue la desinformación (16.9%) y llegar sin acompañante (14.1%).
Conclusiones: a pesar de haber obtenido mayormente un nivel óptimo de bienestar, existen
porcentajes bajos pero llamativos sobre: acompañamiento materno, profilaxis prenatal e
intranatal, el auto-cuidado y confort relacionado a la elección de la posición del parto, así como
de las complicaciones presentadas. |
