Guía de diseño de equipamiento y mobiliario para el Área Nacional de Recreación Playas de Villamil, del Ministerio de Ambiente, Agua y Transición Ecológica

Abstract

The Ministry of Environment, Water and Ecological Transition (MAATE) has the mission of guaranteeing the quality, conservation and sustainability of natural resources, which includes the Playas Villamil National Recreation Area (ANRPV), a protected site that must be intervened with special care to conserve marine and coastal ecosystems by preventing users from contaminating it. This research aims, within this framework, to generate a design guide for equipment and furniture for the Ministry of Environment, Water and Ecological Transition, specifically directed at the Playas Villamil National Recreation Area, so as to indicate how to intervene in certain areas with the lowest possible risk of environmental contamination. Methodologically, the analysis of different case studies was carried out to then propose designs based on the place of intervention and the materials that could be used. Subsequently, the most effective models for the place were analyzed, the least aggressive and easily accessible for merchants, the most sustainable and multifunctional. As a result, the project will allow both users, visitors, and inhabitants to pay special attention to the place and to protect and maintain the flora and fauna.
