| Abstract: | The present intervention work is focused on developing a proposal for the implementation of agrotourism in the Hacienda El Descanso that is located in the Jima Paish of the Sigsig canton, because the hacienda for a few years ago has been receiving tourists sporadically, this has been the reason why agrotourism activity has been seen as a great opportunity for economic, social and environmental development of the place since additionally the Hacienda has the infrastructure and the indispensable resources for this activity. Currently, the Hacienda is dedicated one hundred percent to agriculture and livestock so it is expected that the project will benefit and serve in the long term as an additional income to their daily work. For the proposal, three main objectives have been proposed to be carried out: first, to generate a baseline with tourist vision of everything related to agrotourism, the parish of Jima and Hacienda El Descanso in order to know the environment where the project will be carried out; second, to design a management model, the agrotourism product and the financial plan that allows to know the feasibility in general terms of the proposal; and as a third objective, to carry out a demand analysis and a marketing plan that hep to promote and strengthen the agrotourism proposal once its implementation is carried out.

| Description: | El presente trabajo de intervención está enfocado en desarrollar una propuesta para la implementación del agroturismo en la Hacienda El Descanso que se encuentra ubicada en la Parroquia Jima del cantón Sigsig, debido a que la hacienda desde hace unos años atrás ha venido recibiendo turistas de manera esporádica; este ha sido el motivo por el cual la actividad agroturística se ha visto como una gran oportunidad para el desarrollo económico, social y ambiental del lugar, ya que adicionalmente la hacienda cuenta con la infraestructura y los recursos indispensables para esta actividad. Actualmente, la hacienda se dedica cien por ciento a la agricultura y ganadería por lo que se espera que el proyecto beneficie y sirva a largo plazo como un ingreso adicional a sus labores diarias. Para la propuesta se han planteado tres objetivos principales a llevarse a cabo: primero, generar una línea base con visión turística de todo lo concerniente a la parroquia de Jima y la Hacienda El Descanso a fin de conocer el entorno donde se llevará a cabo el proyecto; segundo, diseñar un modelo de gestión, el producto agroturístico y el plan financiero que permita conocer la factibilidad en términos generales de la propuesta; y como tercer objetivo, realizar un análisis de la demanda y un plan de marketing que ayuden a impulsar y fortalecer la propuesta agroturística una vez que se lleve a cabo su implementación.
