| Abstract: | This intervention project arises from the need to provide improvement strategies to Inti
Kamari Lodge, applicable to the establishment with the purpose of moving towards
continuous improvement. In relation to the operational processes of the Housekeeping
area, it has been possible to identify shortcomings on the part of the staff in the
development in various functions. To achieve the relevant strategies for the organization
of the establishment, technical information collection tools such as interviews and the
observational, non-participant method are implemented. Solution strategies are
proposed based on the identification of factors through the SWOT, IFE and EFE
matrices. The implementation of the strategies aims to correct and improve the
processes of the Housekeeping area, working together with the managers and staff of
Inti Kamari Lodge. The results are reflected in the technical knowledge acquired by the
staff, in relation to their Housekeeping functions, it is also intended to achieve a greater
influx of guests and the change of perception of external and internal customers about
the service offered at Inti Kamari Lodge.

| Description: | El presente proyecto de intervención surge de la necesidad de aportar estrategias de
mejoramiento a Inti Kamari Lodge aplicables al establecimiento con el propósito de
encaminarse hacia la mejora continua. Con relación a los procesos operativos del área
de Housekeeping, ha sido posible identificar falencias por parte del personal en el
desarrollo de diversas funciones. Para lograr las estrategias pertinentes para la
organización del establecimiento se han implementado herramientas técnicas de
recopilación de información como entrevistas y el método observacional no participante.
Se plantean estrategias de solución con base en la identificación de factores mediante
las matrices FODA, EFI y EFE. La implementación de las estrategias tiene como
finalidad corregir y mejorar los procesos del área de Housekeeping, trabajando
juntamente con los directivos y el personal de Inti Kamari Lodge. Los resultados se
reflejarán en el conocimiento técnico adquirido por parte del personal, en relación con
sus funciones de Housekeeping; también se pretende lograr una mayor afluencia de
huéspedes y el cambio de percepción de clientes externos e internos sobre el servicio
ofertado en Inti Kamari Lodge.
