| Abstract: | The objective of this degree thesis is to create an interpretive proposal for the Sonatina for clarinet
and piano by the composer Malcolm Arnold. This study is linked to the need to create investigative
and theoretical material that benefits when interpreting and executing the similar characteristics
with the silver objectives through an interpretive methodology of all his works, from the simplest
to the most recognized in the world. Through a formal analysis generating a historical-stylistic
context of the composer, the most used research techniques were his biography, when he began
his journeys and how many musical works I think were his successes and failures. At the same
time, the investigations carried out by: Artaza, Martínez, Ross, etc. were considered. For all this,
a meticulous study of each of the biographies provided was carried out. The main result was that
they understand an interpretative proposal with a theoretical basis for those students who are
interested in addressing studies on different types of neoclassical musical works of the 20th
century, which is presented in the sonatina for clarinet and piano. |
| Description: | La presente tesis de titulación tiene como objetivo crear una propuesta interpretativa de la
Sonatina para clarinete y piano del compositor Malcolm Arnold. Este estudio se vincula a la
necesidad de crear material investigativo y teórico que beneficie al interpretar y ejecutar las
características similares con los objetivos plateados mediante una metodología interpretativa de
todas sus obras desde las más simples a las más reconocida en el mundo entero. Mediante un
análisis formal generando un contexto histórico- estilístico del compositor, las técnicas más
utilizadas de investigación fueron su biografía, cuando inicio en sus trayectos y cuantas obras
musicales creo cuales fueros sus aciertos y fracasos. A su vez se consideró las investigaciones
realizadas por: Artaza, Martínez, Ross, etc. Para todo esto se realizó un estudio minucioso de
cada una de las biografías proporcionadas. El resultado principal fueron que comprendan una
propuesta interpretativa con base teórica para aquellos estudiantes que se interesen por abordar
estudios sobre diferentes tipos de obras musicales neoclasicistas del siglo XX la cual se presenta
en la sonatina para clarinete y piano. |
