Anteproyecto arquitectónico del nuevo cuartel de bomberos de Gualaquiza

Abstract

In the present work, prior to obtaining a professional title of architects, the design of the new fire station that will function on par with the current fire station will be presented as a preliminary project. This work is entirely dedicated to the population of the canton of Gualaquiza and its immediate area of influence such as the neighboring cantons of San Juan Bosco and El Pangui; the project includes the creation of public spaces such as an auditorium, plazas and recreational areas. The proposal was born through conversations held with the authorities of the Decentralized Autonomous Government of Gualaquiza and the fire department of Gualaquiza with their respective authorities such as the engineer Francis Pavón and the lawyer Toño Quezada, who have shown interest in the development of the project and have been able to provide us with the necessary information for the development of the project, with the background of the management made between the GAD of Gualaquiza and the fire department for the allocation of the land for the new station in the PDOT 2021-2033. In virtue of the needs provided by the fire department for the development of the project, the dimensions of the project, the spaces and the necessary areas were proposed, having as requirements an auditorium, a garage with a maneuvering yard of adequate dimensions, classrooms, specialized warehouses, residential area, recreational area, a monument, mechanics, infirmary, administrative area, a heliport and a hangar. The project is located on an area of approximately 1.4 hectares in the south of the Gualaquiza canton, one block from Teniente Hugo Ortiz street.
