Abstract
The didactic is a fundamental part of the teaching work in its exercise within the
classroom, it uses different resources to respond to the needs of the students. However,
after the appearance of the pandemic, as a result of the Covid-19 outbreak, the didactic
applied during face-to-face education had to be adapted to virtuality to achieve the
necessary knowledge at each level of Basic Education using technology as the most
feasible means to continue with the learning processes, however, there were not enough
teachers prepared to meet the needs of students in this new reality. For this reason, this
monographic work aims to analyze the didactic as part of the challenges that teachers face
during virtual education in times of pandemic. To meet this objective, documentary
research was carried out with various bibliographic sources, including academic articles,
research by various authors and publications by international organizations. After
reviewing and analyzing the information, each chapter was written. It was found that the
didactics applied in virtuality has been a difficulty because some teachers did not know the
use of TIC and technological tools, however, despite the difficulties, teachers have
managed to adapt and have learned to respond to the challenges of virtuality by adapting
different strategies.
Resumen
La didáctica es parte fundamental de la labor docente en su ejercicio dentro del aula,
utiliza diferentes recursos para responder a las necesidades de los estudiantes. Sin embargo,
tras la aparición de la pandemia, como consecuencia del brote del Covid-19, la didáctica
aplicada durante la educación presencial tuvo que ser adaptada a la virtualidad para lograr
los conocimientos necesarios en cada nivel de Educación Básica utilizando la tecnología
como el medio más factible para continuar con los procesos de aprendizaje, sin embargo,
no hubo suficientes docentes preparados para atender a las necesidades de los estudiantes
en esta nueva realidad. Por esta razón, el presente trabajo monográfico tiene como objetivo
analizar la didáctica como parte de los desafíos que atravesaron los docentes durante la
educación virtual en tiempos de pandemia. Para cumplir con este objetivo se realizó una
investigación documental con diversas fuentes bibliográficas, incluyendo artículos
académicos, investigaciones de diversos autores y publicaciones de organismos
internacionales. Después de revisar y analizar la información se redactó cada capítulo. Se
encontró que la didáctica aplicada en la virtualidad ha sido una dificultad porque algunos
docentes no conocían el uso de las TIC y herramientas tecnológicas, no obstante, a pesar de
las dificultades los docentes han logrado adaptarse y han aprendido a responder a los retos
de la virtualidad adaptando diferentes estrategias.
