| Abstract: | The main objective of this academic article is to analyze the profitability of the Advanced
Mobile Service (SMA) of the private sector in Ecuador during the period 2015 - 2019 and,
at the same time, identify the variables that affect its profitability, in addition, a proposal is
proposed. proposal. of value that allows you to increase your profitability. The research is
descriptive and longitudinal under an explanatory and inductive approach, additionally the
financial analysis method was used to identify the financial situation of the sector and the
statistical method through the step-by-step multiple linear regression model to determine
the variables that affect its profitability. Among the results obtained, it can be mentioned:
that the profitability of the SMA companies in the private sector is determined by three
financial indicators that are the indebtedness of the asset, the impact of financial expenses
and sales, and the profitability of the assets. With this finding, it follows that to increase
profitability, measures should be aimed at increasing sales and assets equally and managing
a low level of administrative and selling expenses. Finally, to respond to the objectives of
the study, they are based on financial strategies in relation to the variables that significantly
affect the profitability of the SMA of the private sector in Ecuador. |
| Description: | El presente artículo académico tiene como objetivo principal analizar la rentabilidad del
Servicio Móvil Avanzado (SMA) del sector privado en el Ecuador durante el periodo 2015
– 2019 y, al mismo tiempo, identificar las variables que inciden en su rentabilidad, además
se plantea una propuesta de valor que permita incrementar la rentabilidad del mismo. La
investigación es de tipo descriptiva y longitudinal bajo un enfoque explicativo e inductivo,
adicional, se empleó el método de análisis financiero para identificar la situación financiera
del sector y el método estadístico mediante el modelo de regresión lineal múltiple por pasos
para determinar las variables que inciden en la rentabilidad del mismo. Dentro de los
resultados obtenidos se puede mencionar: que la rentabilidad de las empresas de SMA del
sector privado está determinada por tres indicadores financieros que son el endeudamiento
del activo, impacto de gastos administrativos y ventas, y la rentabilidad de los activos. Con
este hallazgo se deduce que para incrementar la rentabilidad se debe direccionar medidas
para aumentar las ventas y activos de forma equitativa, y manejar un nivel bajo de gastos
administrativos y de ventas. Finalmente, para dar respuesta a los objetivos del estudio se
propuso estrategias financieras en relación a las variables que inciden de manera
significativa en la rentabilidad del SMA del sector privado del Ecuador. |
