dc.description | La evolución de la representación de la mujer en la publicidad y las nuevas tecnologías han tomado cada vez mayor importancia dando paso al Femvertising, una nueva tendencia publicitaria que busca desafiar los estereotipos y dar un mensaje empoderador a la audiencia femenina. Esta investigación tiene como objetivo analizar y comprender cuáles son las opiniones y perspectivas de las mujeres cuencanas en edad adulta emergente frente al Femvertising, y a la publicidad que utiliza estereotipos femeninos durante el año 2021. En primer lugar, se lleva a cabo la aplicación de un Sensor de Resistencia Galvánica de la Piel (GSR) en 40 mujeres cuencanas pertenecientes al grupo de edad adulta emergente, obteniendo su intensidad emocional a través de la conductancia de la piel. A continuación, mediante la aplicación de un cuestionario “estandarizado abierto”, se indagan los diferentes puntos de vista que tiene dicho grupo muestral sobre el Femvertising y la publicidad estereotipada. Los resultados obtenidos muestran que los anuncios Femvertising cuyo contenido se alinea a los valores empresariales de las marcas mejoran la autoestima de las mujeres cuencanas en edad adulta emergente, provocando en ellas empoderamiento y un mayor nivel de atracción, mientras que los anuncios estereotipados afectan su apariencia generando inseguridad, sin embargo, valoran el esfuerzo que las modelos que aparecen en el anuncio realizan para lucir de esa manera | en_US |
dc.description.abstract | The evolution of women’s representation in advertising and new technologies have become increasingly important, giving way to Femvertising: a new advertising trend that seeks to challenge stereotypes and give an empowering message to the female audience. This research looks for analyze and understand what are the opinions and outlooks of emerging adulthood women in Cuenca regarding Femvertising and advertising that uses female stereotypes during 2021. Firstly, the Galvanic Skin Resistance Sensor (GSR) was applied in 40 women from Cuenca who belong to the emerging adulthood group in order to obtain their emotional intensity through skin conductance. Then, the different points of view that this group has about Femvertising and stereotypical ads are investigated through the application of an "open standardized" questionnaire. The results show that Femvertising ads, whose content is aligned with brands’ business values, improve on women’s in emerging adulthood self-esteem causing empowerment and a higher level of attraction while stereotypical ads affect their appearance generating insecurity.
