| dc.description | El presente trabajo se enfoca en el estudio del ritual mortuorio del denominado Cinco o Pichca, el cual consiste en el lavatorio y purificación de la ropa, el hogar y la familia. El espacio de estudio lo constituye la parroquia rural Baños, que se caracteriza por mantener diferentes prácticas festivas, tradicionales y rituales dentro de la cultura funeraria las que, a lo largo de los años, se han ido modificando y transformando, sea por influencia de la sociedad en la que se cohabita, la cultura cambiante, la globalización, entre otras posibilidades. Por ello, se analiza qué cambios y qué continuidades se han dado en el ritual fúnebre, a partir de los años 60 hasta la actualidad, haciendo uso de técnicas de investigación como la revisión documental, observación y entrevistas abiertas. Es así que, a través de este estudio, se visibilizan las diferentes prácticas que aún persisten en el ritual del Cinco en Baños. Todo esto como un aporte hacia la comunidad bañense con el fin registrar parte de su memoria colectiva. | en_US |
| dc.description.abstract | The present project focuses on the study of the mortuary ritual of the called Cinco or Pichca, which consists of the washing and purification of clothing, home and family. The study place is constituted by the Baños rural parish, which is characterized by maintaining different festive, traditional and ritual practices within the funerary culture which, over the years, have been modified and transformed, either by the influence of the society in which they cohabit, the changing culture, globalization, among other possibilities. For this reason, it is proposed to analyze what changes and what continuities have occurred in the funeral ritual, from the 1960s to the present, using research techniques such as documentary review, observation and in-depth conversations. Thus, through this study, it is intended to make visible the different practices that still persist in the ritual of the Cinco in Baños. | en_US |
