| Abstract: | The present titling work focuses on revealing the mood of the players of the professional
football team AVICED FC, with the purpose of comparing whether there is a clear
distinction between the mood of the starting and substitute players, as well as their
influence on performance. The population is made up of 180 players from the eight
categories of the club, having as its main category the Promotion of Ecuadorian Football
in the city of Cuenca, Ecuador, made up of 25 players between 11 starters and 14
substitutes who correspond to the study sample. The research is of a descriptive type of
cross-section, with a mixed approach. The test players were evaluated using the reduced
version of the Profile of Mood State, with a 38-item version that analyzes the variables
tension, depression, anger, vigor, fatigue and confusion. Through the comparison and
analysis of the results obtained in this study, it was possible to verify the existence of a
variability between the mood and the influence on the competitive participation of the
starting and substitute players in key moments of the championship. These results help
coaches to create better conditions, and in this way improve the preparation and
performance of players in training and competitions. |
| Description: | El presente trabajo de titulación centra su atención en revelar el estado anímico de los
jugadores del equipo de fútbol profesional AVICED FC, con el propósito de comparar si
existe una clara distinción entre el estado de ánimo de los jugadores titulares y suplentes,
así como su influencia en el rendimiento. La población que está conformada por 180
jugadores de las ocho categorías del club, teniendo como categoría principal la de
Ascenso del Fútbol Ecuatoriano en la ciudad de Cuenca, Ecuador, conformada por 25
futbolistas entre 11 titulares y 14 suplentes quienes corresponden a la muestra de estudio.
La investigación es de tipo descriptiva de corte transversal, con enfoque mixto. Los
jugadores de prueba fueron evaluados mediante la versión reducida del Profile of Mood
State, con una versión de 38 ítems que analiza las variables tensión, melancolía, vigor,
fatiga y confusión. Mediante la comparación y análisis de los resultados obtenidos en este
estudio se pudo verificar la existencia de una variabilidad entre el estado anímico y la
influencia en la participación competitiva de los jugadores titulares y suplentes en
momentos claves del campeonato. Estos resultados ayudan a los entrenadores a crear
mejores condiciones, y de esta manera mejorar la preparación y rendimiento de los
futbolistas en los entrenamientos y competiciones. |
