Eficacia y seguridad de la vacuna del virus de papiloma humano revisión sistemática

Abstract

Background: Human papillomavirus (HPV) infection is associated with high morbidity, due to the high transmissibility and cancerous capacity of some of its variants, making it essential for prevention. General objective: to describe the efficacy and/or safety of the HPV vaccine. Methodology: systematic review. If it includes 20 studies published in the last 5 years, quartile one to four in Scimago, without language discrimination, from which it evaluates the efficacy and safety of HPV vaccines in different populations worldwide. The information was extracted from different electronic databases and consolidated in personalized tables. Results: the included studies show results with a strong degree of recommendation in favor of the positive and/or obese effects of the application of the vaccine, especially with regard to infections of various HPV serotypes (6.11/16/18/31/33/45/ 52/58) and the types of intracervical, vulvar and/or vaginal lesions, whether benign or malignant (adenocarcinoma in situ, cervical, vulvar or vaginal cancer). According to the safety profile, the VPN vaccine was well tolerated and the effects that occur after vaccination do not have a greater impact and clinical implications. Headache, edema, and pain at the puncture site were the most commonly reported effects. Conclusions: HPV vaccines are effective and safe in preventing infections and injuries associated with serotypes 6/11/16/18/31/33/45/52/58.
